Sound Neptunus is equipped with a Liebherr HS 8100.1 crane which can be used both for dredging and heavy lifting. Built 2022 and installed on the barge the same year. In the current set up the crane has the following statistics: SWL: 47 T (can be increased with modifications) Boom length: 26 m (can be shorten or lengthen to 47m) Dredging depth: 24m Dredging equipment: Light bucket 3.5 cbm Heavy bucket (Roundnose)3 cbm Grabber (Orange Peel) 2.4 cbm Addition to these there are also two hooks for lifting Dredging System: Teledyne PDS 2000 Can also be used for positioning of navigation equipment. The barge is fitted with three spud legs of 22.50 m of length. They can be used at up to 18 m of depth. One of the spuds is made for “walking”, changing position shorter distances.
